well, I may not tell you good job on the track, becasue again it's just you playin with Atomix Virtual Dj, but I did see in your last response that you're tryin to learn Reason & Floops. At that note, if you want to do a REAL remix, look for the midi file that you want to remix, and import the melody, that way the tune would be an actual remix.

Also, some of the effects you use can be done while actually dj'ing, so if you really do enjoy toying around with filters and effects, than maybe look into doing that.

I voted bassed on how well it'd sound if I heard this live, so it's not very highly rated, but still worth voting for, but NOT as a remix or original work of art. But I would like to hear you do some of your own stuff.

Love that lead synth, sounds like V-Station :)

Ok dude, dont take any of this personally, I mean all of this to help out in the future. Try to learn to EQ and compress all your sounds properly, also, try to expand your collection of vsts & purcs from the FL standard ones. The Kick seems a bit too loud, maybe if you lowered the distortion on it and eq'd up the low-mid range a bit and compressed it it's sound a bit better imo.

As far as overall? This song does have potential, if you weren't limited to FL you could probly make this quite a bit better, to explain the 6, the song is quite simple 'not always bad' , and lacks originality from your average EDM song. Also, the synths are all FL standards, and quite francly, I hate them, but you did do a good job using them.

Keep it up :) like i said, this song can go somewhere if you can upgrade all the sounds. If you can send a midi of it my way I'll take a shot at remixing it for ya, or helpin you out with any problems you have.

Hey, some pretty good ideas in this one dude, sounds better than what I remember the last one as. The Purcussion still needs to be tuned up for the most part. the song doesn't really seem to go anywhere, but has a good feeling to it, and would work for game or flash music. An idea might be to try and experiamenting with melody work, try adding in an arpegiated background melody to it, if you could get me a midi of this I could show you what I mean, and I could send you some midi's of my stuff so you can see some examples and maybe work off of. peace

OK...

starts off pretty dark, liking the mood, the lead synth is pretty bad sounding, but not due to your work, simply need to get your hands on some better vst synths, the melody is great, just the sound itself. Bass as well, same problem. Purcussion, I sugest getting better samples, as I notice your using all FL standard stuff, so I'll not ramble on more about it. The arrangement is pretty standard for trance, works well, the melodies in this are pretty good, the piano adds a nice touch.

Likes : The Melody, very well done

Dislikes : The pure "FL"ness of it, if you were to redo this with better resources it'd sound great.

Improvements..

Get yourself some better samples and vst pluggins, as far as samples are concerned, try looking here, you have to sign up "it's free" but there are alot of people who can help you improve and I think that in a year or two you could be doing some serious sounding stuff.
